 I just passed by and didn't enter the shop, but it was a quaint coffee shop just by looking at it from the outside.

通常メニューの和菓子は2週間ほどで銘柄を入れ替えるそう。金箔を使った抹茶をいただいたり金の茶釜＆茶室を見ながら贅沢気分に浸ることができる茶店です。
タイミングによってはおもてなし部長隊に遭遇できちゃったりもします。

It was delicious in the morning until 11 o'clock. The family was asking for matcha (with Japanese sweets).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金鯱焼きとお抹茶をいただきました。緋毛氈や野点傘などの設えの落ち着いた店内です。本丸御殿から離れているし、梅雨時の午後だったこともあって他にお客様はいなくてゆっくりできました。建物の裏に水琴窟もあり、涼やかな音を楽しませていただきました。
I had Kindai-yaki and Matcha. It is a calm interior with a scarlet felt and a field umbrella. It was far from the main enclosure and it was the afternoon of the rainy season, so I was able to relax without any other customers. There is also a Suikinkutsu behind the building, and I enjoyed the cool sound.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 先日、お抹茶と和菓子でティータイム。外を眺めながらまったり〜と美味しくいただきました。初もみじという和菓子でした。もう少しでだんだんと色づきはじめるであろう紅葉が楽しみ。
The other day, we had tea time with matcha and Japanese sweets. It was delicious while looking out. It was the first Japanese sweet called Momiji. I'm looking forward to the autumn leaves that will gradually begin to color.
