It is the site of a water purification plant that started water flow in 1918. It operated until 1967 and was later diverted as an aquatic botanical garden in Tamagawadai Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こんな所で睡蓮が見れるとは思わなかった。
前に来たときは午後だったのでつぼみに戻ってしまっていたが、朝８時頃に来たのでしっかり咲いている所を撮れました。
I didn't think I could see water lilies in such a place.
When I came before, it was in the afternoon so I had returned to the bud, but since I came around 8 am, I was able to take a picture of the place in full bloom.

The ruins where there was Chofu water intake from Taisho 7 to 1967. You can appreciate flowers at aquatic plants and butterfly gardens.
