★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding the restaurant: At the end of the road, at the left, there is a small elevator. Take the elevator to the ninth floor and the restaurant will be on the right.
It was a real experience: great food, busy, lively with an open kitchen (a bit smoky at times)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Japanese bar for little snacks with Sake and cocktails. If you like to try Japanese style fish boil or broil along with good sake. This is place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of my favourite experiences here in Tokyo! Don’t shy away because they also offer an English menu and staff is very accommodating. A little bit pricey but well worth it to grab a few snacks and drinks with friends.
Definitely try the shiitake mushroom!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best foods in Shinjuku and Japan. Great atmosphere and great service (they went to get some drinks we wanted and that they didn't have while treating us to free drinks while we waited!!)! I highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was decent but the waiter tricked us into ordering a double large sake (which was not on the English menu) for 3400 yen when we were trying to order the large sake which was 1000 yen. She then gave us an appetiser without allowing refusal and said the appetiser was free, but we discovered when we got the bill that we had been charged 1000 yen for these too. Instead of admitting to her lie, she then changed her story and said the 1000 yen was a service fee. We were also overcharged for the beer by 300 yen. She blamed all of these mistakes on the English menu being old. Overall, decent food but be prepared to spend 10,000+ yen rather than 5,000-6,000 which is the price range you would expect from the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They know their grill and all the foods are yummy! We are (mostly) vegetarians but still had good time! Their collection of Japanese sake is nice. The waitress/waiter are friendly and helpful, and can communicate in some English.
