多賀城址のことかと思いきやちがうらしい。へぇーここに国府があったんですか、、、、、と思うのは私だでしょうか。

奈良・平安時代に陸奥国府が置かれた多賀城は、発掘調査の結果から11世紀前半頃には国府としての主要な役割を終えたと考えられています。しかし、その後に書かれた中世の記録には、しばしば「多賀国府」という名が登場します。それでは、中世の「多賀国府」はどこにあったのでしょうか。現在では、仙台市宮城野区岩切から本市の西部にかけての地域が、その有力候補地に挙げられています。この地域には、中世の遺跡が密集することが長年の発掘調査から明らかになっています。また、「奥大道(おくだいどう)」という鎌倉からの幹線道路と、海につながる水上交通の幹線である七北田川が交差する水陸交通の要衝であり、町場や宿場、市場としても発展していたと考えられます。

 Taga Kokufu?
I think it's different from the Taga castle ruins. Oh, was there the Kokufu here... I wonder if that was the case.

Based on the results of excavations, it is believed that Taga Castle, where the Mutsu Kokufu was located during the Nara and Heian era, ended its major role as the Kokufu in the first half of the 11th century. However, the name "Taga Kokufu" often appears in the later medieval records. Where then was the medieval Taga Kokufu? Currently, the area from Iwakiri, Miyagino-ku, Sendai City, to the western part of the city is listed as a promising candidate site. Many years of excavation have revealed that medieval sites are concentrated in this area. In addition, it is a key point of land and land traffic where the main road from Kamakura called Oku Daido intersects with the Nanokudagawa River, which is the main water transportation route to the sea, and has developed into a town, lodging, and market. 周囲に溝を巡らせ、母屋を始め倉庫、井戸の痕跡があり中国、国産の陶磁器も多数発見されています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周囲に溝をめぐらした武士の屋敷跡。12世紀から16世紀後半にかけて屋敷が存続していたことが確認されています。各屋敷にはそれぞれ主屋や倉庫、井戸などが設けられ、中国産・国産の陶磁器が多数発見されており、上級武士の住まいであると推定されます。これらの屋敷群については、陸奥国留守所長官として、代々この地を治めた「留守氏」に関わるものと考えられています。国府多賀城とは直接関係のある遺跡ではないのですが、宮城県の歴史では重要な遺跡だと思います。
The ruins of a samurai mansion with a ditch around it. It has been confirmed that the mansion survived from the 12th century to the latter half of the 16th century. Each mansion has its own main house, warehouse, well, etc., and many Chinese and domestic ceramics have been found, and it is estimated that it is the residence of a senior samurai. These mansions are believed to be related to the "Rusu clan," who ruled the area for generations, as the Secretary of the Mutsu Province Absence Office. It is not a ruin directly related to Kokufu-Tagajō, but I think it is an important ruin in the history of Miyagi prefecture.
