★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北国街道の鉢崎宿にあり、越後高田藩が管轄した関所のうちの一つ。
測量中の伊能忠敬と関所役人との間で通行をめぐり一悶着あったとされる。
現在は石碑と解説板があるのみ。
 Located in Hachizaki-juku on the Hokkoku Highway, it is one of the barriers under the jurisdiction of the Echigo Takada Domain.
It is said that there was a rush between Tadataka Ino and the Sekisho official during the survey over the passage.
Currently there is only a stone monument and a commentary board.
