 The four red torii gates are impressive. It's not large, but it's a well-maintained and clean place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鮮やかな朱塗りの鳥居が連なり、一対の狐が神殿を守る、全国に30,000社あると言われる稲荷社のひとつです。
けっして大きいとは言えないものの、整えられた境内、歴史を感じる玉垣から、真新しい石碑などからずっと大事に祀られているのが一眼で分かる神社です。
It is one of the 30,000 Inari shrines nationwide, with a series of bright vermilion torii gates and a pair of foxes protecting the temple.
Although it is not big at all, it is a shrine that you can see at a glance that it is enshrined with great care from the well-organized precincts, the historical Tamagaki, and the brand new stone monument.

ツーリングの途中で立ち寄りました。香川県坂出市横津町にあります。林田町の八坂神社から川沿いを300mくらい下ると、県道33号線のすぐ道脇にこじんまりと安置されています。朱色の鳥居が並びすぐお稲荷さんと分かります。
お稲荷さんだからでしょうか、ここは狛犬ならぬ一対の狛狐が神を護っていました。狛犬のようにあぎょう像、うんぎょう像の区別があるのかどうか分かりませんが、向かって左の狐がわずかに口を開け何かくわえていました。
境内には昔大きな木があったらしいのですが、今は切り倒されて一本のみです。
"Sakaide City: Yokozu Inari Shrine"
I stopped by during the touring. It is located in Yokozu-cho, Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture. If you go down the river from Yasaka Shrine in Hayashida-cho for about 300m, you will find a small place on the side of the prefectural road 33. The vermilion torii gates are lined up and you can see Inari-san right away.
Perhaps because of Inari-san, a pair of foxes, not guardian dogs, protected the gods here. I don't know if there is a distinction between a guardian statue and a guardian statue like a guardian dog, but the fox on the left opened his mouth slightly and was holding something.
It seems that there used to be a big tree in the precincts, but now it has been cut down and there is only one.
