★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yayoiken is one of Japanese restaurants where you can order the food with something that similar to a ticket machine. The menu has English descriptions on each meals, so don't worry. I love their Mackerel simmered in miso teishoku!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for lunch. Food is tasty, serving is appropriately sized, prices are affordable, and food selection is big. It can get very busy during lunchtime (noon), but wait times are not long. If you take a set meal and white rice, you also get free rice refills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, affordable & healthy Japanese set meal. There's even an option for you to change to multi grains rice with no extra charge, but the portion is rather small. I would recommend to get the big size rice bowl. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty nice and relaxing as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner here since it was close to our hotel. You choose dishes and drinks through a machine at the entrance and then sit down. The staff had already put children cutlery on a table once we came in which was nice. The food cane within minutes and was really good. Overall a very nice experience, would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having tried the chicken teishoku at the Yotsuya branch earlier in the week, went to Yayoiken Shibuya to try their breakfast. Must say it was very good but it doesn’t come close to the marvelous lunch. Rice refill, though, is free too.
