入口が小高い場所にあるので、ウォーキング等の運動目的なら長町一丁目駅から歩いて訪問した方が良いです。徒歩で20～30分程度です。
運動目的でないなら車やバスの利用が便利ですが、休日は駐車場が混んでいますのでバスを推奨します。また、車で訪問する際は、園の西側からの道は狭くて車のすれ違いが大変ですのでお気を付け下さい。狭いのにバスも通行します。
園内は50m程度の高低差がありますので、歩きやすく滑りにくい靴を履いていくと良いです。
芝生にシートを敷いてのんびりしたり、植物の撮影をしたりする人で賑わっていました。

Since the entrance is located on a small elevation, it is better to walk from Nagamachi 1-chome Station for exercise purposes such as walking. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes on foot.
It is convenient to use a car or bus for non-exercise purposes, but we recommend a bus because the parking lot is crowded on holidays. Also, when visiting by car, please be aware that the road from the west side of the park is narrow and it is difficult for cars to pass each other. Even though it is small, buses also pass.
There is a height difference of about 50m in the park, so it is good to wear shoes that are easy to walk and do not slip.
It was crowded with people who laid sheets on the lawn and took pictures of plants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場は無料で30台ほどです。道は狭くて曲がり角が多いです。
萩の花は5分咲きほどでした。萩祭りということでしたが、そこまででもなかったかな。
園内は蚊が大量にいたので虫除け必須です。
階段が多く、芝生エリアも芝生が長めなので足腰の悪い人には辛いかもしれません。
ベビーカーや車椅子では回れません。
喫茶店があり、手頃な値段で軽食もあります。
There are about 30 free parking lots. The road is narrow and has many corners.
Camellia flowers bloomed for about 5 minutes. It was a samurai festival, but it wasn't that far.
There are a lot of mosquitoes in the park, so insect repellent is essential.
There are many stairs and the lawn area is longer, so it may be hard for people with poor legs.
You cannot turn around with a stroller or wheelchair.
There is a coffee shop, and there are snacks at reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 野草園は入口がいくつもあるらしく最初どこから入っていいかわかりませんでした。
ナビは野草園ではなく野草園駐車場で検索した方がいいようです。
萩の花は完全に終わっていました。
今は秋の野の花とススキ、紅葉が少しという感じです。
モチモチの木で有名なトチの実が地面に落ちていました。
池の周りにはトンボが沢山、奥に行くと秋の虫の鳴き声や野鳥の声が聞けました。
落ち葉が沢山で道が濡れている所が多いので滑らない汚れていいような靴がいいと思います。

It seems that you should search for navigation in the wild grass garden parking lot instead of the wild grass garden.
The Hagi flowers were completely over.
Now I feel that there are a few autumn wildflowers, pampas grass, and autumn leaves.
The fruit of the horse chestnut, which is famous for its sticky tree, had fallen to the ground.
There were many dragonflies around the pond, and when I went to the back, I could hear the sounds of autumn insects and wild birds.
There are many fallen leaves and the road is wet, so I think shoes that do not slip and can be dirty are good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 数十年ぶりに行きました。入場料は¥250です。子供の時はつまらないと思っていましたが、大人になり色々な木々や花々を見ながらの散策も楽しいと思える場所です。今回は花などは季節がらほとんど咲いていませんが紅葉が奇麗になっていました。芝生広場のところの欅は素晴らしいです。
どんぐりを転がして遊べるとこがあり人も少なかったのでやってみました（笑）
車でいったのですが、駐車場は無料ですが道が凄く狭いです。市営バスも通ってるので対向からくると怖いです。
I went there for the first time in decades. Admission is ¥ 250. I thought it was boring when I was a kid, but as an adult, it's a place where you can enjoy walking while looking at various trees and flowers. This time, the flowers were barely blooming due to the season, but the autumn leaves were beautiful. Keyaki at the lawn square is wonderful.
There were a few people who could roll the acorns and play, so I tried it (laughs).
I went by car, but the parking lot is free, but the road is very narrow. Municipal buses also pass, so it's scary to come from the opposite side.

快晴の空に芝生広場近くの紅葉が光にキラキラとても綺麗でした
これから紅葉しそうな木々もあり
まだ楽しめそうです
ほとんどの花は終わっていますが
山茶花の花は咲いてました
It's sunny and the crowds are out to the resort, so the wild grass garden is very quiet.
The autumn leaves near the lawn square were shining in the light in the clear sky and it was very beautiful.
There are also trees that are likely to turn red
I think I can still enjoy it
Most of the flowers are over
Sasanqua flowers were in bloom

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little cafe where you can have lunch or a pudding. I had the vegetarian Sansei Soba. 550 yen. The staff are lovely. Hot food served between 11am and 2pm. Fantastic view from the balcony over the gardens to the mountains of Izumi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a natural garden where you can enjoy watching many flowers and plants. Its wild structure is preserved. I visited here on July 13th. There was free guide tour. Although it was supposed to be Yamayuri season the rainy season postponed its blossom. We were siplit into small groups and Mr. Aihara lead us including 5 people. It was great to see how knowledgeable he was. Not just the name of the plants but also their origins and other details. I truly enjoyed learning about lots of wild plants. Would defined like to visit here again. The admission fee is 240 yen. There are few free parking available. You can also enjoy lunch or coffee at the restaurant at the entrance.
