 A shrine standing on the castle ruins. Access is not good because there is no parking lot nearby, but it is well maintained and beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一応、町内に八坂神社の奉参会がありましてそこを中心に町内の人達で年に数回、草刈りや清掃、保全しております。
新嘗祭や御神輿には八坂神社より神主さんを迎えて行っております。
以前は大小の御神輿も保管していましたが、現在は防犯上もあり他に移しました。
手前が拝殿で神殿が奥に有ります。

We are greeting Shinto priest from Yasaka Shrine for Shin Nao Festival and Shinkisen.
Previously, we kept large and small mikoshi, but now there are also crime prevention and moved to others.
There is a temple in the back with a hall at the front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ バイパス沿いの側道に八坂神社の階段があります。ここ一帯は高井城跡で、その一角に八坂神社があります。ここから眺める朝日は筑波山から昇ってきてとても美しいです。
There is a staircase at Yasaka Shrine on the side road along the bypass. This area is the site of Takai Castle, and Yasaka Shrine is in one corner. The Asahi seen from here rises from Mt. Tsukuba and is very beautiful.
