Pequeno santuário nas dependências do antigo castelo.
Small sanctuary on the premises of the old castle.

When you climb the stone steps, you are quietly sitting in the shade of a tree! It is a shrine with no torii and only a small shrine!

A shrine that enshrines the deity of Mr. Tsuchiya, who has been the lord of the castle since the Genroku era. In 1898, Viscount Tsuchiya offered to donate the ruins of Tsuchiura Castle, which was owned by the Tsuchiya family, to Tsuchiura Town on the condition that the Tsuchiya Shrine, which was in Kawaguchi Town at that time, was moved to the castle. It was made and relocated. Most of the shrines built in the castle have clear purposes such as "build near the powder magazine and pray for fire prevention" and "build at the demon gate to prevent evil", but in that sense There seems to be no relationship with the castle. On the left side of the current company site, there are stone steps and lanterns that seem to be the old company site.

~ Tsuchiura feudal lord, Mr. Tsuchiya's shrine ~ When Honesty, the son of Tokugawa Nariaki's former feudal lord Tsuchiya, donated the Tsuchiura Castle Ruins as a park, he moved the shrine from another location. When the Takeda clan was destroyed, Tsuchiya Sozo of "One-handed Senninkiri Densetsu" who defended the Takeda clan from the large army of Oda and fought fiercely until the end became its roots. Reminiscent of the guts of "Berserk", he is featured in a shounen manga called "Reiri". Although it is a very small and small shrine, it is also a shrine that warmly watches over the castle ruins park where the citizens can relax and play. Don't expect a good company.
