でも、あゆの吊り橋へ行くために駐車場を利用しました。
目の前には、あゆの塩焼きやシャモのつくねなどが頂けます♪
美味しかったです♪

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 趣のある無人駅です。ホームから久慈川にかかる赤い「あゆのつりはし」が見え、たいへん景色のいい駅です。駅前にはあゆを食べられるお店が二軒ならんでいて、どの季節もたべられるとか。
令和元年11月4日現在、GoogleやNAVITIMEの時刻表と相違があるので、注意してください。
It is a quaint unmanned station. From the platform, you can see the red “Ayu no Tsurihashi” over Kuji River. There are two shops where you can eat sweetfish in front of the station, and you can eat it any season.
Please note that there is a difference from Google and NAVITIME timetables as of November 4, 2000.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「合併しない宣言」で有名になった矢祭町の駅。水郡線の車窓見て途中下車したくなる駅ナンバーワンでは？久慈川がそばを流れててそこに赤い橋が架かってて。その橋を渡ると小さな滝のある不思議エリアが、また駅前には鮎などを食べられる食事処もあります。
A station in Yamatsuri-cho that became famous for its "declaration not to merge". Is it the number one station that makes you want to get off the train when you look at the window of the Suigun Line? The Kuji River runs by and a red bridge is built over it. Crossing the bridge, there is a mysterious area with a small waterfall, and there is also a restaurant in front of the station where you can eat sweetfish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 水郡線で水戸から下って行くと福島県に入り最初の駅です。 すぐ隣には久慈川が流れ 風光明媚なところです。東北の駅百選にも認定されています。 駅近くには売店やハイキングコースなどもあり 1日楽しめると思います。
If you go down from Mito on the Suigun Line, you will enter Fukushima Prefecture and it is the first station. The Kuji River flows right next to it and it is a scenic place. It is also certified as one of the 100 best stations in Tohoku. There are shops and hiking trails near the station, so you can enjoy your day.
