駅自体は郊外の駅といった雰囲気で、無人駅です。2面2線の交換可能駅です。
駅舎はいかにも新しく建て替えたといった感じの簡易的なものです。
It is a station on the JR Taita line. I was attracted by the name and tried to get off the train.

The station building is as simple as a new one.

愛らしい駅名ですね。
