★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice rental gear shop for fuji climber. Price is reasonable. Various size of clothes and shoes. Convenient for unprepared tourist (like me). But keep in mind that climbing fuji mount. required well-preparation and good fitness.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Very impressive.
There is the return booth at the base of fuji mount. So, you can just drop all gears there and back to tokyo empty hand. Just need to prepare your own light clothes and shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Professional and foreigner-friendly. Before going to the shop, I used their online chat facility to confirm availability: they translated from my English into Japanese without a problem. On arrival at the shop, all our gear was waiting for us. We were able to return it by dropping it off at a 7-eleven for Yamato courier service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and kind staff. English is not that good but still able to communicate with each other. if you decided to hike mt. fuji last min like me, this is the place to get your gear. Price is definitely cheaper than buying it. Just get the 12 items set and you basically get yourself 80% covered for the hike. Go early because some items may run out of sizes. Some items are smelly though like the bag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good shop but be very careful to check your order and rental items! They asked us to select boots, coats and walking gear in the store but when we went to collect these on the day of our climb, they had changed items and given us lower quality. Not good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very prompt and friendly service. They are well stocked with all items needed for hiking and mountain climbing. It's much cheaper to rent climbing gear here instead of buying them outright, for people who don't hike very often. The place was a little tricky to locate, however. Just find the elevator lobby beside the Doutor Coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to COVID they have a strange system of letting customer in the shop which might let someone wait in line up to 2-3 hours. No reservation for visiting made it even difficult. Can’t comment on products or other services since we gave up because of long waiting hour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've rented from here several times. Service and selection is great. Anything from summer camping gear to serious alpine equipment. Some gear is showing it's age but functionally basically everything is great. Only real problem I've had was with an inflatable pad that had a hole in it. Honestly though, the quality of everything else is so high that I can forgive it.
