広島駅からの乗り継ぎで、山陽本線の天神川方面よりも、芸備線の方が早く出発すれば、こちらを利用することもあります。
It is a 10-minute walk to Aeon Mall.
We may use this if the Geibi Line departs earlier than the Tenjin River area of the Sanyo Main Line when connecting from Hiroshima Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ソレイユに行く時に。芸備線は時々遅れる事が有り、そんな時は駅の構内をぶらぶらと。少しノスタルジックな雰囲気が良。時間の余裕が有ればね！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周りが変貌する中、昔から全然、変わらない、懐かしい駅。変わったのは待合室の椅子と改札のICOCAくらい。電車も赤い気動車でレトロ感は満点でおすすめ。
A nostalgic station that hasn't changed at all since the old days while the surroundings are changing. Only the chairs in the waiting room and ICOCA at the ticket gate have changed. The train is also a red railcar and the retro feeling is perfect and recommended.

ホームに行くのに橋を渡らないといけないので車椅子とか松葉杖の方は大変。(¯―¯٥)
お手洗い?も古い和式でちょっと遠慮してしまう。
それでも昔ながら？の風情を楽しむためには良いでしょう...（待合室が中々の雰囲気?）
直ぐ側を新幹線?が車両基地に入る姿を見れたり、新しい物と古き物の融合が面白いですね...??

Wheelchairs and crutches are hard because you have to cross the bridge to get to the platform. (¯―¯٥)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ トイレが改札の外、駐輪場の横にありますが、男女共用の和式で、トイレットペーパーの備え付けがないために使いづらいかもしれません。
