芸備線や整備車庫に出入りする新幹線がゆっくり走る姿や珍しい貨物列車が観られるスポットとして線路沿いに鉄道マニアが集まってくるなかなかレアなスポットでもあります。
公園から見える新幹線の引込線の橋梁につる草が絡む姿はなかなか風情がある景色だと思いますよ。

喫煙禁止ですが、知ってか知らずかタバコを吸いにバイクに乗ってくる方がいます。
ポイ捨てが目立ちますが、清掃をしてくださる方がいるのか、割と綺麗な状態が保たれているように感じます。
