眼鏡をかけている顔ですが、実は右耳辺りから目尻に眼鏡はありません、よくデザインされたレリーフである事がうかがえます。一度は訪れたい場所でしたので来れてよかったです。
It was a gentle old man when I approached him and looked into it from directly below.
The face is wearing glasses, but in fact there are no glasses from around the right ear to the outer corner of the eye, which suggests that it is a well-designed relief. It was a place I wanted to visit once, so I'm glad I came.

普段は写真撮る人が多いですがコロナで観光客が少ないです。特に中国人客などアジア系の観光客がいないのでほんとに静かでした。
Weston Monument is on the quiet left bank of the Azusa River.
Usually, there are many people who take pictures, but there are few tourists in Corona. Especially, there were no Asian tourists such as Chinese tourists, so it was really quiet.

大変恐縮ながら視察を兼ねて
母とふたりでお出かけ。
長野県松本市の
上高地ホテル白樺荘で
お世話になりました。
かっぱ橋から1.1㎞。
高齢の母には歩くのも程
よい距離。
梓川の川沿いを歩くのも
とても気持ちよかったです。
上ストン埤を見たら
後ろを振り返ってはいかが
でしょうか？
とても美しい風景です。
帰りは野鳥にも出会えとても
嬉しかったです。
よたよた歩きながら
休憩しながら歩いた母。
そして私も程よいウォーキングで
また歩きたいと母もわたしも
感じました。
とても良かったです。
上高地を有名にしていただいた
ウエストンさんにとても感謝。
上高地の美しさに感動しました。
ありがとうございます!!!
