古	古鏡 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 奥の細道　第３の段「草加（早加）」　呉天（遠い地の空）に白髪のうらみを重ねた芭蕉が、死をも覚悟した奥の細道の旅に江戸を振り返る像である。個人的な率直な感想として奥の細道に負けない名作である。奥の細道　第6の段「日光山」では”黒髪山は霞みかかりて、雪いまだ白し”と書かれていて、「白髪のうらみ」や「懐郷」も薄れているように読める。ブロンズ像をみて思い出した。かつて有能な音楽家は、他人の曲をカヴァーするとき、敬意を込めて、ヒット曲のカップリング曲や知られていない曲を選んだという。山下達郎さんはカヴァーは「原作者と勝負して打ち負かす」（うろ覚え）といっていた。この像には作者の妥協を感じなかった。 Oku no Hosendo 3rd Stage "Soka (Sayaka)" Basho, which has white hair in the sky of Kuren (the sky of a distant place), looks back on Edo's journey to Oku no Hosodo, who was prepared to die. 直	直哉 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 札場河岸公園の望楼の近くにあります。草加は松尾芭蕉が奥の細道の旅で最初に宿泊した地とされていて、所縁があります。日光街道の名所である草加松原を背に振り返って名残惜しそうに江戸の方を見つめている姿のようにも見えますし、少し離れたところに建てられた弟子の河合曾良像が呼び掛けていますので待ってあげようとしている素振りなのかもしれません。市内在住の彫刻家麦倉忠彦氏の平成元年の作です。 It is near the watchtower of Fudabagashi Park.
