★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is an onsen at the hotel that is available for day bathing for a 700 yen fee. However, if you collect four stamps from various locations within Kamikochi park, you can enter this onsen for free. You'll need the promotion paper from your hotel that provides the spaces for thes tamps. Simply collect the stamps and present it to the onsen and you're in. The onsen is small but quite nice. The outdoor bath is quite hot, around 45C, but the smaller outdoor baths are a more comfortable temperation. The indoor bath is nice, too. There are lockers at the entrance for your backpack, etc., and there are lockers in the changing room for your wallet, etc., both free of charge.
