み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は息長足姫尊・誉田別命・姫大神。創建は神亀5（728）年で，永保2（1082）年には八幡太郎義家が奥州安倍貞任・清原武則追討の折，朝敵退散を祈願し，応永2（1395）年に太田道灌が武運長久を祈願した。天正18（1590）年に府中城が佐竹義宣に攻められ大掾氏が滅亡した際に一度焼失したが，慶長7（1602）年に再建された。社名が「若宮」八幡宮なので，てっきり御祭神は応神天皇（誉田別命）の御子神である仁徳天皇かと思ったのですが，どうやら八幡宮から分祀された新しい宮という「若宮」のようですね。息長足姫尊は応神天皇の御母神の神功皇后ですので，姫大神とは応神天皇の妃神である仲津姫命でしょうか。八幡通りの突き当たり，社地も社殿もそう大きくはありませんが，立派な朱色の随神門があり，この随神門と社殿は元文年間（1736-1740）の造営だそうです。歴史的にも常陸國總社宮創建の頃から共にこの地に鎮座していらっしゃった重要な古社であります。 The deity of the priest is Susumu Feet Himeson/Honda Tetsumei/Hime Okami. At the end of Hachiman-dori, neither the shrine site nor the shrine is so large, but there is a magnificent vermilion-colored Zuijinmon gate, which is said to have been built during the Genbun period (1736-1740). Historically, it is an important ancient shrine that has been together in this area since the establishment of Hitachi Kokusosha Shrine.
