★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は社名のままでありましょうが，創建年代など御由緒は不詳です。しかし，この辺りは旧・国衙のお膝元だけあって，街中の路地の小さな社といえど驚くほどに古い歴史があったりします。
国分寺の道路を挟んで西側，フェンスで囲まれた大きな池の中の島に社が鎮座していらっしゃいます。参拝した季節は冬ということで池の水は枯れていましたが，然るべき季節にはさぞかし美しい場所となると思います。
