M	May Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much to see except for the wine cellar. Since no entrance fee is required, can't expect too much. However, it has a lovely garden.
A	Alif Kaf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All breweries and restaurants closed due to financial difficulties. (Extremely poor management caused this!!!!) Really hope the brewers find brewer job or open his/her own brew pub and make great beer again. Added: Many thanks to the mayor of Ushiku City and the people concerned. They have been working to restart Ushiku Chateau and their efforts are paying off. They say the restaurant will restart this year if everything goes well but I don't think restarting their business by the end of 2019 is an easy goal. No need to rush, will wait for the day patiently.

E	Erik L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is called a chateau for a reason - they actually made wine here in Japan all the way back to the Meiji era. The buildings are authentic, garden is gorgeous, the museum shows the rise and fall of the Kamiya family. A true hidden gem for those who are tired of the usual Tokyo route. The restaurant dinner service needs a reservation, I cannot stress this enough. The prices are quite cheap considering the high quality of the food, drink & service, so it's a local hit. A very cool experience. Definitely recommend!
