★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は応神天皇、仲哀天皇、神功皇后、玉依姫命です。
天安年間（857〜859年）豊前国宇佐八幡宮の分霊を迎え柏原村の産土神としました。
よって社号を宇佐八幡宮と云う。
初めは現在の鷲峰寺に隣接した場所に鎮座いていましたが寛文年間（1661〜1673年）に高松藩主松平頼重公が当社地内に鷲峰寺を再建し、延宝四年（1676年）に至って諸堂を造営、寺領五十石及び近隣の林等を寄贈した。鷲峰寺は隆盛と成り宇佐八幡神社は同寺の鎮守神と同様に成ってしまった。
氏子達は寺社方に願い出、寺社係役人及び氏子立会のもと中尾主馬之丞の所有林へ心霊を遷座した。これが現社地であります。

During the Cheonan era (857-859), we welcomed the spirit of Usa Hachimangu in Buzen Province and made it the ubusunagami of Kashiwabara Village.
Therefore, the company name is called Usa Hachimangu.
At first, it was enshrined in a place adjacent to the current Jubuji Temple, but during the Kanbun era (1661-1673), Takamatsu feudal lord Matsudaira Yorishige rebuilt Jubuji Temple in our premises, and in the 4th year of Enpo (1676). He built various temples and donated the temple territory of Gojikkoku and nearby forests. Jubuji Temple became prosperous and Usa Hachiman Shrine became the same as the guardian deity of the temple.
The priests made a request to the temples and shrines, and transferred their spirits to the forest owned by Mr. Nakao, who was in charge of the temples and shrines and witnessed by the priests. This is the current location.
