★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御厩町と国分寺町の町境に有る万灯山より東側(御厩町側)に伸びる尾根の先端に造営されたお社です。最近神門を新築したのか大変初々しです。拝殿、本殿も立派ですし桜が咲き始めていて手入れの行き届いて気持ち良く御詣り出来ました。ここからは私の考えですが、このお社の周囲は古墳地帯でお宮奥万灯山、伽藍山との鞍部にうたい塚古墳、下の池には御厩池古墳、三っ塚古墳、北東側には御厩天神古墳、南西側には六目古墳と囲まれています。万灯山、伽藍山、六目山とおむすび?山が並んでるこれらの事、また神社境内の形等から境内に円墳？前方後円墳？ではないのではないかと思っています。

Mountains are lined up, and from the shape of the shrine precincts, is it a circular mound in the precincts? Keyhole-shaped tumulus? I think it isn't.
