★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 六日町の八箇峠から十日町の十二峠までを、標高800～900mの尾根伝いに走る観光道路です。観光道路ですが雰囲気的には舗装された林道で路面のコンディションや道の広さはあまり良くないです。2輪では気持ちよく走れるでしょうが四輪は道幅が少し気になりますね。特に夏場は植物が大きくせり出してくるので。
景色はとても良いです。展望台が5箇所あり、東側も西側も晴れれば良い眺望が期待できます。
注意しないといけないのは令和3年7月5日から令和3年10月2日まで工事全面通行止めとなりますので今から走るとなるともう秋以降ですね。詳しくは新潟県のWebを見ましょう。
It is a tourist road that runs along the ridge at an altitude of 800 to 900 m from Hakka Pass in Muikamachi to 12 Pass in Tokamachi. Although it is a tourist road, the atmosphere is a paved forest road, and the condition of the road surface and the width of the road are not very good. You can run comfortably with two wheels, but the width of the road with four wheels is a little worrisome. Especially in the summer, the plants come out big.
The view is very good. There are 5 observatories, and you can expect a good view if the east and west sides are sunny.
It is important to note that the construction will be completely closed from July 5, 3rd year of Reiwa to October 2nd, 3rd year of Reiwa, so it will be after autumn if you start running from now on. For details, see the Niigata Prefecture website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 舞子のリゾートマンションを買って10年が経ちましたが、初めて通りました。
前から気になっていたのですが、天気の良い日のドライブにはさいこうです。
石打駅側から六日町インターまで1時間くらいで十分ドライブを堪能できます。
ぜひ一度走ってみてください。道は少し狭いので運転には気をつけてください。

You can fully enjoy the drive from the Ishiuchi station side to the Rokukamachi interchange in about an hour.
