矢田津世子文学記念室の隣の、
五城館の和室のほうを利用させて頂いたのですが歴史情緒あふれる、粋な場所でした。
昭和初期に建てられた、土蔵造りの農業倉庫をリニューアルしたそうです。
五城目に来たらまた寄りたいと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ だまこ鍋など郷土料理が気軽に食べられる。給食コンテストで優秀な成績をおさめたとのことで限定メニューとしてある。食堂定番のメニューもあり。
You can easily eat local dishes such as tamako nabe. It is a limited menu because it has achieved excellent results in the school lunch contest. There is also a standard menu in the cafeteria.

ここは喫茶店風レストランだとコロナ禍の以前から思っていました。
しかしながら五城目町HPを見るとこの五城館は、昭和初期に建てられた土蔵づくりの農業倉庫を生まれかわらせ、中には、カフェテリア、居酒屋、多目的ホールや五城目町ゆかりの女流作家「矢田津世子文学記念室」などがあるとのこと。
いざ中に入ってみたら奥が広いんですね。トイレもきれいだし、広い無料休憩スペースもあったし、立派な施設でした。

When you go inside, the back is wide. The toilet was clean, there was a large free rest space, and it was a wonderful facility.
