It takes about an hour to be served, but it's very delicious.

It's my 5th visit. It's really very nice. If you really want to find some shortcomings, it's they sold out very soon. If you want to try better during lunch time, usually sold out about 1700~1800.

Authentic Unagi Restaurant run by husband and wife team. Be prepared to wait for one hour for your meal. Super fresh. Eels are filleted as you wait.

The BEST??? ell rice I had at Tokyo! They only process the ell when ordered. So it takes about 30 minutes to serve after you order. A must must must eat elk rice place at Tokyo. Don’t miss it!???

This is by far the best unagi I ever had. The owner gets the living eels and cooks them as the orders come, so you will want to have at least 1h30 available. As a foodie, this is something you cannot miss! I would advise you to get the special for 4000 yen

No need to wait to get a seat in a weekday afternoon. We got seated at around 14:00 and food arrived at 14:40. It was absolutely worthy for the wait. The grilled eel was so fresh and tender and so tasty that I wish there was more rice in the serve!

waited almost 2hrs because they gave the food to people after us first. It was fine for us that the food takes a long time but it just feels unfair that they got it before us (the same order too) we also informed them when we saw them setting up the side dishes for the group after us but all they told us was to wait. Food is great but not worth the wait. very expensive too.

What a great experience. Here is the gist. Line up early - about an hour ahead in Sunday was enough to be one of the first few people. They will take your order in line before you enter. They do not speak much / any English but people will help you - they're all very friendly. If you arrive late they will take your order and tell you to come back. Order a beer or sake and you will get a few nibbles while you wait for your eel. It's more than worth it. My eel was prepared from live and was easily the best I've ever had. They do not over sauce it and they take their time while making it. The owner chef has been cooking eel for 40 years and is very friendly but doesn't speak English.
