★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best sushi I've ever had in my life. This is a two Michelin star, which I believe will be a three star one day. Considering the chef that took over the restaurant was able to keep it at a two star after the owner passed away. Watching them make the sushi is an experience in and of itself. The service was outstanding and the food was so delicious. I don't believe any adventure to Japan is complete without an experience like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chef Koichi Taira is an artist, he takes a few dishes to warm up to you but dont be afraid to ask questions. We were served 29 different dishes including soups. Everything is and was top notch, my favourites were the Spanish Mackerel and the Tunas. I have included a picture of the front door as it was slightly hard to find given i do not read any Japanese. ;)

The chef led us on a journey across all of Japan with items being skillfully and meticulously prepared to enjoy the best possible dining experience.
