み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神・御由緒とも不詳です。境内の石碑には「式外官社於岐都説神社」とありましたが，延喜元（901）年成立の日本三大実録には「仁和元（885）年三月十日乙丑條，授常陸国正六位上於岐都説神従五位下」と記される式外社ということでしょうが，一般には神栖の息栖神社（「沖津瀬－おきすせ」が「いきす」に転じた）がそうだとされています。いずれにせよ当社が式外社か否かを証明するにはタイムマシンの発明待ちとなりますが，往古の当地は霞ケ浦に浮かぶ中洲のような場所だったのかもしれませんね。当地は，三昧塚古墳をはじめとする沖洲古墳群が密集する古い古い地。国道355線沿いの社地はそう広いわけではなく，社殿も近年改築された御様子でありますが，境内には祠や石碑が立ち並び，悠久の歴史が伺えられます。 It is unclear about the deity and the origin of the festival.
