★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本で最初にできた教科書図書館です。アール・デコに影響を受けたという曲線美や、スクラッチタイルの味わい深い建物の造りで、建物好きからも人気のある場所になっています。所蔵物の一部は国の重要文化財に指定されており、歴史の教科書で見たことのある資料や、自分が使っていた教科書まで発見することができます。利用には事前予約が必要なので、注意が必要です。住宅地の奥まったところにありますが、都電荒川線で行くのが便利です。
This is the first textbook library in Japan. The curvaceous beauty of being influenced by Art Deco and the tasteful construction of scratch tiles make it a popular place for building lovers. Some of the collections are designated as national important cultural properties, and you can discover materials that you have seen in history textbooks and even the textbooks that you used. Please note that advance reservations are required for use. It's located in the back of a residential area, but it's convenient to go by the Toden-Arakawa Line.
