2018年夏。富岡製糸場周辺で食事をするつもりが たまたま休みが多い日で ブラブラ歩いてるところを白衣を着た【シュンサイセンセイ】に声を掛けられた。まさか料理人自ら案内してると思わず ビックリ。。店の中には女性がもう一人。シュンサイセンセイが素晴らしい人だと説明してくださるが、ご老人シュンサイセンセイを暑い中 外に出して案内人させてる辺り 力関係がちょい疑問に思えたのが正直なところ。 肝心のお味の方は カレーは数日煮込んだらしく 柔らかく美味しかった。蕎麦は普通。付け合わせのサラダが葉っぱちぎっただけ(家で出してるような)で 愛想の無いものだったが すべてにおいて女性の巧みな話術の調味料で ごまかされてる感じがする。 でもまぁ、子供はカレーが美味しかったと満足してたので良かった。

製糸場の近くに幾つかお昼が食べられる店があったので迷っていたのですが、前を通りかかると白衣を着た老人=料理人の旬菜さんが店の前に出ていらしたので、思わず入ってみました。 おっきりこみと小丼のセットを頼んだのですが、小丼は季節ものの鰆の炙りで盛り付け・味ともに上品で美味しく、おっきりこみもお出汁が上品でするするとお腹に入りました。おっきりこみは言うほど平たくなく、どちらかというとうどん寄りかな?という形。 上品なお出汁は2歳の子供も美味しかったらしく、飲み干していました。 平日の早い時間だったので人が少なく、旬菜さん直々に色々とお話を伺うことができました。歯に衣着せぬ物言いが痛快でした。 ・おっきりこみはお出汁の原料にこだわっており、これだけで利益はほとんどない。いろんな魚の節から出汁をとっており、とにかくお出汁を味わって欲しい。 ・そもそも老後の養生で住みだしたところ、地元に請われたのに応じてお店をやっている。利益もそんなにないのでボランティアに近い感じだ。(ジョーク交じりに) ・おっきりこみは場所がら(請われて)提供しているが、本当の領分は旬の素材を活かしたちゃんとした料理。 ・箱根の富士屋ホテルでシェフをしていたことがあるのでカレーを食べて欲しい。富士屋ホテルで3000円のカレーがこの店では1500円で食べられる。

富岡製糸場へ到着する少し手前で、ご年配の男性が「いちの家です。」と声をかけてくれました。 一度通り過ぎてから、なんだかとても気になり戻って来て、道路から少し入ったお店を見つけました。 ランチで、おっきりこみ鍋を注文しました。 小どんぶりを選んで、サラダとお漬物、デザートのセットです。 とてもやさしいお味で、添加物を一切使っていないそうです。美味しかったです。 とても有名な「旬彩先生」という方が料理をされているそうです。85歳とのことですが、とてもお元気です。声を掛けてくれた方がこの方です。 次回はカレーを食べようと思います?

ん〜ん。ご年配の人柄の良い女性の給仕の方が、旬彩先生の選ぶ食材やメニューのコンセプトを丁寧に説明してくれながら食事をいただいたのですが、、、、。。。 美味しいのは美味しいのですが、特別に素晴らしいと言う訳でも無いようです。

ランチに富岡名物おっきりこみうどん鍋定食を頂きました。新鮮な食材で優しいおだしのお味なので、美味しくてうどんのスープを全部飲めてしまいます。小丼の鶏そぼろ丼はアクセントに山椒が入っていて絶品です。量もあり大満足なランチでオススメです

カレーを食べましたが、お店の方が言うようにとても美味しかったです! カレーのルーが美味しいだけでなく、お肉も柔らかく大満足でした。連れはご当地グルメのおっきりこみうどんを食べてましたが、こちらも上品な味で柚子の風味もあり、麺もコシがあって美味しそうでした。 また、おじいちゃんと言ったくらいの方が作ってるのですが、頑固に見えて非常に気さくでいろいろ話してくれたりもしました。 カレーに関しては箱根の某ホテルの高級カレーに負けない味と豪語してましたが、分かる気がしました。 場所柄、富岡製糸場の近くで観光地なのですが、このご時世なかなか人も行けない状況ですが、少しでもたくさんの人に食べてもらいたい味です。

This is hard to sum it up but the main thing is Sensei was the chef for the Showa Emperor. His cooking is all fresh and very deep in flavor. Not strong but very balanced. He spent 4 years in Europe studying cooking. Now the food. It is a softer, less in your face fat udon, kind of like Hotto in Yamanashi. The rice is on the softer side (which I prefer, wife doesn’t) but the minced chicken on the rice was great! Please pay him a visit. Prices are great.
