ひ	ひろし on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 黄檗宗東光寺、萩毛利家3代目、5代目、7代目、９代目、11代目の藩主と御台所とその一族のお墓があります。松陰神社からまわるバスで3つ目のバス停が東光寺前です。山門を入ると本堂に向かって真っ直ぐに参道を歩きます。萩市の西の山の中に入って行く感じです。参道は、緩い登り坂、両側は、木立です。本堂を参拝し、本堂の裏側にまわると、肌に感じる空気感が、張り詰めたような厳かな雰囲気に変わりました。山の中腹にむけて、沢山の石灯籠が整然と列び、石畳の通路を石灯籠に囲まれ、見守られながら、登って行くと、山を背に毛利家藩主と御台所のお墓が横1列に並んでいます。お墓の高さは、人の身長よりはるかに高く、どっしりと根をおろしているように感じました。石灯籠の数は、500基と言われています。お墓を警護する家臣のように感じました。雰囲気に圧倒され、写真を撮すのも憚られるような気持ちになり、東光寺の山門のみ撮しました。萩市に観光に行った時は、是非、この雰囲気を感じて欲しいですね。京都に住み京都の社寺仏閣は、だいたい拝観しましたが、東光寺の本堂裏側の毛利家藩主の墓所ほど厳かな空気に取り囲まれたのは初めてです。 Obaku sect Tokoji Temple, Hagi Mori family 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th generation lords and kitchens and their clan's graves.
