If there is a stone monument carved a cat near the entrance I would like to see it by all means, but there was no signboard, so be careful not to overlook it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 開山は1458年ごろ越後村山耕雲寺の末寺として瑚海沖珊禅師が開いたといわれ、金山城主中島家の菩提寺として庇護をうけてきました。 本堂は１７００年に建立したもので典型的な曹洞宗の伽藍となっています。
Kaisan is said to have been opened by Midori Sangōmi as the last temple of Kounji Temple in Echigo Murayama around 1458, and has been protected as a family temple of the Nakajima family, the owner of Kanayama Castle. The main hall was built in 1700 and is a typical temple of the Soto sect.

水芭蕉も咲くようですね。
入口には猫神様の他、頭髪供養塔なる珍しいものもありました。髪に感謝＝健康祈願？若しくは成仏してしまった在りし日の髪を供養？
It was a very well-maintained and clean temple.
It looks like Mizubasho also blooms.
At the entrance, there was a cat god and an unusual hair memorial tower. Thank you for your hair = pray for health? Or memorialize the hair of the day when it was a Buddha?
