2021.12月 残念ながらこの時は お休みだったと思います。 見晴らしの良い場所で 宮島の景色を眺められる 素敵な茶屋だと思います。
February 2021.1 Unfortunately at this time I think it was a holiday. In a place with a good view You can enjoy the view of Miyajima I think it's a nice teahouse.

静かですが、 お餅は観光地価格ですね。一度でいい。 甘酒飲んでゆっくりするにはいいかもしれません。
It's quiet, but Mochi is a tourist spot price, isn't it? You only have to do it once. It may be good to drink amazake and relax.

Only udon was written on the menu, but there was also soba. I had Rikisoba, but the soba has a texture that seems to be dried noodles. The soup stock worked well. The mochi was firm and it was just right to stick too much. It was very nice to be able to eat slowly outside.

少し登った所にある茶屋風情がありとても居心地の良い場所です。力餅がとても美味しいです!
It is a very cozy place with a teahouse atmosphere that is a little uphill. Rikimochi is very delicious!

Rude towards customers. Wouldn't recommend or waste your money here.

This quiet rest house on the path behind the pagoda was an unexpected and very nice surprise. Mr. Matsuoka is the fourth generation of his family to own the teahouse and tend the 200+ year-old "Ryuzen-no-matsu" pine tree along the path. He and Mrs. Matsuoka engaged in a pleasant hour-long chat with us while we had coffee during a walk early on a quiet weekday morning. I'd definitely recommend stopping for some refreshments and a chat with them if they aren't too busy.

A lovely hidden oasis away from the crowded tourist areas. You can sit outdoors on a raised tatami mat and enjoy a steaming bowl of udon soup for under 800 yen (tax included). There are also cold noodles for the warmer months. The view of a 200+ year old pine tree that grows horizontally along the path to the nearby Toyokuni Shrine Five-Story Pagoda made our lunch even more enjoyable. Only wish we had more time to try the delicious-looking mochi. Gochisosama deshita.
