If you can get here and want a day out, visit the entire area. You will need a day too if you visit the other local places but you should be able to fit this in within an afternoon. It cost me 600yen as an adult and kids are 200yen each. There other additional costs into certain museum buildings but check first as to what's inside because one or two might be with kids in mind but the history there and what you can see is extensive. The displays show local Ninjitsu tradition going back over 200 years but there's also much more from the daily lives of the people living in this area. If you're a family, take 10,000yen as there's a lot the kids might want. For an adult, less than 5000 will give you a good visit if you want to buy souvenirs too.

This is a great place for people of all ages. They have a brilliant collection of old ninja weapons and armour as well as fun activities for children. The whole area is truely stunning, with an amazing avenue of old cedar trees going to an old shrine in the area too.

Great place!!!! Loved the Ninja house was challenging. Shirikan throwing is 200¥ (7 shirikan) and you may win a price.

Great place for kids and adults alike. Not too much to do but definitely worth the 600¥ for adults. The Ninja house is a really cool house with hidden paths and tricky puzzles to solve. If you are around should take an hour or two to spend here especially when you are traveling with kids.

It was an amazing experience. It's great for kids. Even adults want to try some of obstacles. I will recommend to try the ninja house. It's a great fun. But stay with a group. Hidden doors are so tricky that you need couple of people to get the actual exit door... Have fun ?

Great fun, the trick house is definitely the best bit, it's absolutely hilarious. It's a puzzle to get even through the first room, only getting harder from then on. Absolutely worth a visit. Just explore it thoroughly before you leave, you can miss things. The rest of the area includes an obstacle course, with some surprisingly difficult challenges, such as a tightrope, which is low and safe, a horizontal climbing wall, and a small zipline. It's all suitable for kids, and would be pretty hard to hurt yourself on. There's two small museums, both of which are entirely in Japanese, one on ninja, featuring weapons and photographs, and one on local living, with clothes, and farming tools etc. The ninja one is the one I preferred. There's also a "shuriken school", which is an additional ¥200 for seven shuriken. If you can hit a target with five you can win a prize. I don't think it's rigged, just difficult. So maybe practice before you go! There is a cafe on site, but I didn't go, and a gift shop selling ninja stuff, mostly for kids, but you can buy fairly dangerous looking metal (blunt-ish) shuriken that would still do a lot of damage if thrown, so don't...

Interesting place to visit but not much to do tho. The must visit place is the ninja house, great fun! If you want to re-enter the house, 200 yen is required therefore, try to enjoy as much as you can when you first enter. We spent an hour here, you may stay longer if you come with kids.

Interesting museum full of old ninja tools. The ninja house is the most exciting part of this museum. So you enter this house and you have to find the exit just like how the ninjas were trained to find values and hidden doors (similar to an escape room experience). Another fun part was the shuriken throw, for ¥700 you get 7 shuriken and you have to hit the target. This was a fun place to visit and I'd definitely go back!
