k	kurashi yamaneno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 墳丘長207メートルは全国で27番目の大きさ。前方部が細長く、全体が柄鏡（えかがみ）形を呈する柄鏡式古墳である。古墳時代初期の内でも比較的新しいものであり、箸墓古墳に後続する時期に造営された巨大な前方後円墳である。後円部の頂に高さ2メートル弱、一辺9.75×12.5メートルの貼石のある矩形壇があり、また方形に巡る有孔の壺形土器（二重口縁壺形土器）が壇の裾周りに巡らされているのを別にすると、墳丘に埴輪を使用した痕跡がない。段築面には葺石が施されている。また、陪墳群がみられない。この古墳の後円部の空濠の外に宗像神社があり、筑前国宗像郡の宗像神社と同神である。北部九州系の神社が大和にあるのは珍しいらしい。古墳全体は柵で囲われているが、南側を走る国道165号線から少し水路に沿って降りると扉がありそこから入ることができる。古墳内部はほぼ草木で覆われていてまともに歩くことができなかった。行くなら冬場だろう。前に広いスペースがあるのだから駐車場やトイレも含めて観光用の整備をお願いしたい。2009年の発掘調査の一般公開の時に行ったがその時の写真はどこかにいってしまった。 The mound 207 meters long is the 27th largest in Japan. It seems rare that there is a northern Kyushu shrine in Yamato. The entire burial mound is surrounded by a fence, but if you get off a little along the waterway from National Route 165 running on the south side, you can enter from there. The inside of the burial mound was almost covered with vegetation and I could not walk properly. If you go, it will be winter. There is a large space in front, so I would like to ask for maintenance for sightseeing, including parking lots and toilets. I went there when the excavation survey was open to the public in 2009, but the photos at that time went somewhere.
