I have mixed feelings about St. Regis Osaka, The check in process was lengthy and our room was not ready on our arrival from Kyoto although we arrived after check in time, we were tired and I had kids who were hungry so while waiting for the room to be ready we wanted to eat something but there were no options available except for the bar which we ate at, the food at the bar was very good and service was good as well and when I asked for the bill they told me that it was on them because they kept us waiting for checkin which was a nice gesture, after food the checkin guy came to us and told us our room was ready (it was past 5:00 pm). The room was huge and the view was amazing, the bathroom was incredible with an amazing shower and beautiful bathtub with a view over Osaka skyline which I really enjoyed. The room was super comfort but then whenever we needed anything from the butler they would take along time to respond and sometimes they forget so we have to call again!! This happened to us multiple times and almost ruined our day but then the staff have a way of apologizing like leaving a note with fruits or cookies to makeup for the slow service! Food service menu was great with many options on 24 hr bases and food was very good. I have to mention that on our last day I wanted to book a car to the airport for our flight back home and the concierge had multiple issues first they made it seem very hard to book a car which made me feel frustrated because a hotel like the st Regis shouldn’t have an issue in providing airport transportation service or booking it for us! but then they managed to book one for us however when the car arrived while we were waiting for it downstairs with our luggage they gave it to another guest by mistake!! After waiting for 15 minutes past our pick up time they realized it an had to call the driver to come back for us!! Luckily he wasn’t too far away and we managed to arrive for our flight on time. In summary when I look at our experience I feel that the hotel is lovely and could be a great option if the service and staff management is improved.

The St. Regis Osaka, now part of the Marriott Group is a nice property conveniently located above a subway station. When we arrived in the morning, the check-in desk was overcrowded with people and it was a little on the chaotic side. We were attended to shortly however, and the hotel staff was nice enough to offer us a place to wash up when we asked if it was possible. Kudos to them for going the extra mile with regard to that. Butler service was okay. We ordered coffee and our request was promptly attended to, with some light bites accompanying the beverages we ordered. The breakfast spread was really sumptous. Both international selection and Japanese meal were to my liking. The hotel also has got a nice bar with great ambience, and it comes with live music. All in all, a nice property.

The best hotel in Osaka. I have been stayed in this Hotel several times, I still considered this Hotel as the best hotel in Osaka. My sister and I brought a lot of luggages and we have to move all the bags to lobby. We called butlers for help. One of butlers moved all our luggages from room to lobby and she also helped us to move the luggages to the taxi we already made reservation. That's impressive. Thank you so much for St. Regis Osaka. We experienced wonderful trip in Osaka.

As always, the conduct and attitude of the staff at any hotel make or break the experience . The staff at St Regis Osaka were always genuinely courteous and helpful. They spent time for example finding where we could buy a judo costume and seemed to enjoy the challenge. The room was immaculately clean and the room service including Turn down was efficient and generally speaking, at the times requested. It was a wonderful stay and we will return when we can.

A bit disappointed. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff, but overpriced for what it is. We only stayed 2 nights and couldn't get into our room until 6pm on the second day as the housekeeping were still in there and the bar was closed for a private function so had to go wait elsewhere to pass the time for an hour and a half. When you pay a bit extra you don't expect the hotel to cause you so much inconvenience. So overall, a beautiful hotel, but we wouldn't stay again. We had a much better experience at some 3 star hotels in Kyoto and Tokyo during our stay in Japan!

Beautiful hotel, the top tier service you expect from a St. Regis. The bartender was very friendly and provided great local insight. Although the drinks were spectacular the food at the bar was forgettable. Upgraded to an outstanding suite bigger than my last apartment. A bit of a hike from the Shin-Osaka station if you arrive by bullet train but about a 2,300Y cab. Walking distance to the bustling shopping streets and Osaka Castle (I would skip if you have visited other castles in Japan).

Loved their well thought services, everyone was very kind. The room was very clean so as other common area.The room also offered very nice view from large window. Location is pretty good as you can access to major stations such as Osaka station, Nanba station and Shinsaibashi station easily from the hotel. It was such a great moment with all those sophisticated and authentic services. Will definitely stay the hotel in the furut.

We have visited Osaka several times and this is the best stay we had so far. Children friendly and great services. They provided a crib for our 11month old baby. The breakfast buffet there was great. We will definitely stay again next time.
