A	Alison M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was very nice and had my room ready and waiting for me with treats and a welcome note when I arrived, tired and disheveled from a long train ride and longer day. They did not come collect me from the train station and so I had to find it on my own - it's not an especially long walk but, with luggage it can be taxing as you have to go about 20 minutes down the street and under the train station. The hotel itself is large and very classically done. Think polished wood panels and sumptuous decor. I was taken aback by the fact that my room did not include access to the gym or the spa area and I had to pay for that. I took a tour of the area with the nervous staff who, despite their saying you can do so, seemed surprised by my request to look around. It wasn't worth paying for. Breakfast the following morning at the buffet was delicious and very well-stocked with fresh and delicious pastries and fruits, eggs, and noodles. Thankfully they informed me of their shuttle service to the nearby bus that went directly to the international airport - which is about 45 minutes taxi ride away. The shuttle was free and the friendly attendant helped me purchase my ticket and handle my bags. This was excellent because it saved me roughly $75 USD on the taxi to the airport and was something I was unaware of until they suggested it and called the shuttle for me.
L	LindaKam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to spend our New Years in Osaka to welcome the new decade! The staff and service at Ritz Carlton was impeccable. Their breakfast spread at restaurant Splendido was excellent and service staff was attentive and very polite. Mr Onishi checked us in, and I would like to commend him on his service. We had an enjoyable NYE evening at the lobby lounge to ring in the New Years and service in the entire Ritz Carlton Osaka hotel was very good. There is also a nice indoor pool which my husband enjoyed, and 7 year old daughter made some young friends while swimming there so she was happy! Hotel is also in a good location, easy for transportation to and from airports ( Itami and Kansai) as the bus stop is literally 3-5 mins walk ( no steps) away. We had many luggages as osaka was our last stop in our 2.5 weeks trip. When we check out, the bell boy ( porter) helped us happily to bring our suitcases to the bus station. There is also a phone at the bus station for when you arrive for them to come and helped you with your luggage. It was also an easy walk to the Osaka/Umeda station for day trips to Kyoto and other areas for sightseeing, and next to Osaka station there are many malls if you like shopping and plenty of restaurants to choose from. One thing to note though. We were shocked to find out at check in that Complimentary club lounge usage is not extended to Bonvoy platinum elite members so do check your benefits clearly if one of your reasons for choosing this hotel was complimentary usage of their club lounge.
J	Jazmine Sol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t typically write reviews but this is definitely one that deserves a five star. Out of all the Ritz I have stayed at, the Osaka is hands down one of the best. It’s so zen there. The service is beyond excellent. They truly give you an incredible experience. Location is good and walking distance to a ton of restaurants. There is a very nice lounge downstairs but it was pretty quiet while we were there, so not much of a vibe but the service was great!
S	S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took only fifteen mins to get to the hotel from our home but we really enjoyed “ staycation” there! Less people, comfortable environment, great food, nice service and so quiet. That was what we expected for this trip!
h	hkt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from the room is perfect, both daytime and night view. Facilities and amenities are perfect too. Just a bit confused on the semi-style buffet breakfast. But understood the restaurant is trying new styles to serve breakfast under COVID. Hope it would be improved and actually looking forward to the full buffet style just like pre-covid.
C	Ciara Shcaben on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For Ritz-Carlton, there is a certain level of expectations you hold as a guest, and as disappointing as it is to say, The Osaka location was subpar. The way the hotel is designed made it very difficult to navigate since all the halls look the same. There were little details like peeling paint in the bathroom and numerous dirty cables on display in the guest rooms. The most disappointing part for me was the breakfast at Splendido. We waited over 20 mins for drinks, the buffet was very unimpressive and lacked a good variety. To make matters worse, the breakfast upset my stomach for the entire trip. When I told the hotel staff about this they just shrugged it off. I have stayed at many Ritz-Carltons and many other 5 star hotels and this one falls short. I have stayed at far nicer 3-star hotels. Unless you are a fan of tacky decor, it might be worth your time and points to stay somewhere else in Osaka.
K	Kelvin Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hotel with great service. The breakfast buffet is splendid. Room rates are a little pricey compared to some of the 5 star hotels around the vicinity of JR Osaka station. But you get what you pay for.
R	Rosa Maria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an afternoon tea at their lobby lounge, service is very good. The place is clean and the interiors looked elegant. The staff were very accommodating and prompt. It's a relaxing place to have a nice afternoon tea. The food was ok but the royal milk tea was great. They were a bit stingy at tea selection though, other place would offer many selection but here you could pick one tea or coffee with unlimited refill. Would definitely come back next time.
