★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東北本線の塩釜駅から１０分余りのところにあります。まずは、立派な石鳥居と灯篭が迎えてくれます。鳥居をくぐると少し長く急な階段が続きます。石段を登りきると荘厳な朱色の楼門が迎えてくれます。その先には本殿があります。ただし、主祭神の塩土老翁神を祀るのは右手にある別宮になります。いずれも江戸中期に再建された重要文化財で一之宮らしい立派な社殿です。
It is about 10 minutes from Shiogama Station on the Tohoku Main Line. First of all, a splendid stone torii and a lantern will be welcomed. A steep staircase will continue for a little longer as you pass through the torii. A majestic vermilion tower gate will greet you when you climb the stone steps. Beyond that is the main hall. However, it is Betsugu in the right hand that scolds Shioto Shiori of the main festival deity. Both are important cultural properties rebuilt in the middle of the Edo period, and they are magnificent shrines like Ichinomiya.
