★ ★ ★ ★ ★ when you're really craving thai and you want it right away but dont wanna order and wait at a proper sitdown and order restaurant this is the place for you. bar counter style, restaurant class flavor. authenticity isnt quite up there with the ingredients they use but they do a fair job of substituting with japanese ingredients (and it keeps the prices down)

It's. Amazingly. Good.
My wife and I went for the green curry (with seafood) and peanut curry (with chicken). We also ordered the coconut pudding and durian ice cream for dessert.
The taste, balance of flavors, textures, they were all way above our expectations!
Someone give this little shop a Michelin star because this is what good food is!
As someone who has lived in Kyoto for over 10 years and tried dozens upon dozens of shops, I would say this place is on my Top 10 recommendations across all cuisines.
The service was nothing particularly heartwarming but not rude either.
The food, though... Yum!!
