K	Kaeko.N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ＪＲ山陰本線(嵯峨野線)の円町駅から徒歩5分程の場所にある、とても個性的なお寺です。お寺自体はそれほど大きくありませんが、境内に、約8000体のダルマが奉納されているお堂や瓦、御朱印やおみくじ、お守りにもダルマが登場します。境内とダルマが奉納されている起き上がり達磨堂は、無料で見学できますが、衆聖堂(本堂、庭園、キネマ殿)は300円の拝観料が必要です。キネマ殿には石原裕次郎さんや美空ひばりさんなど日本の映画関係者800人がお祀りされています。御朱印(300円)は、門を入ったすぐ右手の受付でいただきます。御朱印帳に書いていただきました。 It is a very unique temple located about a 5-minute walk from Emmachi Station on the JR Sanin Main Line (Sagano Line). The temple itself is not that big, but in the precincts, there are daruma dolls in the temples and tiles where about 8,000 daruma dolls are dedicated, red stamps, omikuji, and amulets. You can visit the precincts and the Dharma dedication of the rising Daruma temple for free, but the main shrine (main hall, garden, Kinema hall) requires an admission fee of 300 yen. 800 Japanese filmmakers such as Yujiro Ishihara and Hibari Misora are enshrined at Kinema. Goshuin (300 yen) will be available at the reception on your right after entering the gate. I had you write it in the red stamp book.

The garden is also beautiful and you can also enter a temple for a fee. If you have a Daruma, you can make a wish, write it on paper and colour one of his eyes. If your wish comes true, you colour his second eye. There is also a little cemetery behind the temple. The staff is very friendly.
