R	Richard McGonegal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't recommend visiting Philippines until the craziness calms down. I am a fully vaccinated returning resident and must stay 10 nights in a quarantine hotel. Just getting to the hotel involved multiple checkpoints, health checks etc. Not a welcoming experience.

A	Axel Karpenstein on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Narita Airport during Corona is a unique experience, on a Monday morning at 10 am the airport is almost completely empty and the staff outnumbers travelers at a ratio of probably 1:10. Checking in and immigration procédures are quick and courteous. On the downside, few stores are open (mostly perfume, liquor and other duty free items). In Terminal 1, there is one cafe at gate 53 that is open between 10 am and 6 pm. Another one close to gate 20 is only open The, Thu and Sat, from 9 am.
