C	Christine T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first thing you come across when you walk into the rest house is a gift shop filled with snacks, crafts, and souvenirs that are either made in the area or are characteristic to the Iwate and Kitakami area. If you walk through the gift shop you get to a restaurant with tables and chairs and a large tatami area further in the back. Big windows overlooking the Kitakami River line the walls. You can't see the cherry trees but the view of the river is superb. To order food or drinks you have to first stop by the cashier in the gift shop and order from the menu there and get a ticket to bring to your seat.
