神社と杉の間に国道があって、拡幅する際に杉の外側に道を作ったのかと覚しいです。
結果、杉を挟んで車線が二本。
神社の杜も素晴らしいです。

There is a national highway between the shrine and the cedar, and I wonder if the road was made outside the cedar when the width was widened.
As a result, there are two lanes across the cedar.
The shrine forest is also wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ おうどん屋さんへの道中に見学させていただきました。よく神社にある立派な御神木は一本か二本なんだけど、ここは五、六本ありのその他の杉も大きいです。ここら辺一帯が天川神社社叢という国指定天然記念物だそう。讃岐山脈麓まんのう町の豊かな自然の凄みを感じました。
