宮	宮本康弘 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道１７号線を南に走り綾川を渡って少し首切り峠側に走ると右側に鳥居が見えます。ここが椎尾八幡神社です。八幡神社ですので祭神は応仁天皇です。神社の歴史とかの古い記録書籍等は天正時代の戦乱で兵火にあい焼失したようです。口伝によると貞観二年(860年)山城國の岩清水八幡宮から勧請し、この地の産土神として祀った。境田摂社　阿諏訪神社　天忍穂耳命また社の浦山、社叢林は香川県自然記念物で椎の木(ツブラジイ)の純林の陰樹林です。神社左側の道を高鉢山方面に上がると香川県では珍しい風穴が有ります。高鉢山登山口はこの道を登ると有　ります Follow Prefectural Road 17 to the south, cross the Aya River, and drive a little toward the decapitation pass, and you will see the torii gate on your right.
