湯渕沢河口近くからのルートでは、ナメ床が所々見えるが、殆ど数十センチ程度の石で埋め尽くされている。
中の滝より先は、次第に石の大きさが増し、一つ一つ乗り越えるのに非常に体力を消耗すると同時に、二天の滝に近づくにつれ、石の表面に苔が広がる為、大変滑りやすく、更に体力を消耗する。
しかし、苦労の末辿り着く事が出来れば、左岸から続く階段状の流れと、垂直に落ちる流れとが絡み合い、直ぐ目の前の滝壺に滝しぶきと共に流れ落ちる流水の姿は、これまでの苦労を補って余りある程の素晴らしい景観を見せてくれる。

However, if you can reach the end of the hardship, the stair-like flow that continues from the left bank and the flow that falls vertically will be intertwined, and the appearance of the flowing water that flows down to the waterfall basin in front of you with the waterfall splash is the hardship so far. It makes up for the wonderful scenery.
