J	Jeanings Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yeah, this spot is out in the suburbs, and only opens from 6PM onwards. If you're reading this, most likely you want to try the top-rated tonkotsu bowl, and will trek up here for it. As with this type of ramen, you get to choose hardness of the noodles - hard, normal, soft. Personally I like hard noodles, as they soften up as you eat. The broth itself is creamy and rich, but not overly heavy. Good balance and very easy bowl to finish. You get a coupon for kaedama (noodle "refill") for next time. Great opportunity to check out what a suburb is like in this megacity, so the trek is not bad at all.
E	E T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review contains a lot of personal point of view. on Sunday night I only waited for 15 minutes to enter, but as I enter the smell really got me. I’m not a big fan of Tonkotsu ramen, so that’s probably why I didn’t enjoy the whole experience here.

The price is okay but not a good deal comparing to some local cost Tonkotsu chain in Tokyo. The noddle top-up is not free and costs 130 yen but you will get a free top-up coupon for use next time.

It is as traditional as it gets, down to the open-late, four in the morning is the last order. The only downside is its far! You need a bit more effort to reach this place from Central Tokyo. The other thing is the shops is smelly.

I do love good tonkotsu ramen, and once I've been here, I'm having trouble enjoying other tonkotsu ramen as I keep comparing others to this place. Tanaka Shoten's soup is rich, flavourful, full of umami, and seasoned to perfection—not bland nor salty, and NO hint of msg stock powder in the soup. The noodles are thin (which I like) and cooked to your desired doneness. The chashu is cooked to perfect tenderness (not to the point of being mushy). If you tend to have high blood pressure, brace yourselves and prep your meds since the soup is very rich and creamy, you can feel the fat in every slurp! Yes, the soup is fatty but not greasy. Although the place is a bit far from the station, this place is worth the trip. You can come by car (they have a spacious free parking area); or you can burn extra calories by biking or walking. Went back after 8 months. Not as good as before. Chashu and soup was different. Disappointed... I gave 5 stars before, changing it to 4 now.

m	max zas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soup soooo good, sure fire kaedama (noodle refill) !!! Took some tjme locating the shop, 20min walk frm Rokucho (Tsukuba Exp line), but well worth it. Went on a busy Sep saturday night, had to wait for 20min to get in. English menu available. Server will get your order and pay later at the cashier. Fairly huge shop vs usual ramen shops. The pork flavored soup was super but not overpowering, the green onions balance the taste! Chashu superb. Will come back for sure.

The ramen is perfect and tastes straight from Hakata. The service is nice and fast as well. They do have some tables for families. But plenty of stools for people by themself or small group.
