Tsukuba City does not have a well-equipped exhibition facility due to lack of budget, but I think it is good that you can easily visit it for free. The staff at the museum in the back kindly responded to stamp rallies and questions. If you have children in Tsukuba, I think it's a good idea to visit once while playing with the playset in the sports park.
つ	つくばデポ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地域の資料館としてはそれなりに楽しめる施設です。元が桜村時代の資料館だったことを考えると、資料規模としては相応だと思います。むしろ、決して広くは無い展示スペースに、「これでもか」というくらい資料が展示してあるのが興味深いです。資料が縄文時代から始まり、途中戦国・江戸時代を抜かして明治以降の近世から再開するのですが、縄文土器やその当時の石器などが展示してあるのが興味深いところです。住所でもある金田地区は、古くは官衙もあったようで、それなりの歴史がある地区のようです。教科書でしか見られない土器や石器を、ガラス越しであっても直接見ることができ、また無料である点は評価してもいいと思います。小学生連れであれば、駐車場脇の公園と合わせて訪問すれば数時間は過ごせます。 It is a facility that you can enjoy as a local museum. You can directly see the earthenware and stone tools that can only be seen in textbooks, even through the glass, and I think you can appreciate the fact that they are free of charge. If you are traveling with elementary school students, you can spend several hours visiting the park next to the parking lot.
