城址公園として整備されているので当時の遺構はほとんどありません
説明板の他には城主清水宗治首塚、清水宗治辞世の句碑、高田馬治像、毛利家最後の藩主毛利元徳揮毫清水宗治顕彰碑、公爵毛利元昭揮毫天聽記念碑、日露戦争三十周年記念碑等が明治から昭和にかけて建立されています
