詳しい築城時期は分かりませんが鎌倉時代後期か南北朝時代に築城されたとの事です戦国時代には備中境目七城として足守川西側対岸にある宮地山城攻めにおいて羽柴秀吉が在城したそうです電波塔設備があり東側の車道から山頂まで行けますが落ち葉で側溝が埋まっているので脱輪に注意して下さい NTT電波塔の横に進入路があり数分で主郭まで行けます一段高い場所に旧日本陸軍の防空監視哨聴音壕跡があります南側には祠が祀られている窪地があるので井戸跡だった可能性がありますがよく分かりません見事な野面積の石垣、虎口、曲輪、堀切等の遺構があります竹藪が繁っていますが通路は定期的に手入れされているようで歩き易くなっています

I don't know the exact time of the castle, but it was built in the late Kamakura period or the Nanbokucho period. During the Warring States period, Hideyoshi Hashiba was present in the attack on Miyajiyama Castle on the opposite bank of the Ashimori River as the Seven Castles on the Bitchū Border. There is a radio tower facility and you can go from the road on the east side to the mountaintop, but be careful of derailment as the gutters are filled with fallen leaves. There is an approach road next to the NTT radio tower, and you can reach the main enclosure in a few minutes. At a higher place, there is the remains of the Imperial Japanese Army's air defense surveillance sentry pit. There is a depression on the south side where the shrine is enshrined, so it may have been a well trace, but I'm not sure. There are remains of stone walls, koguchi, Kuruwa, Horikiri, etc. Bamboo bushes are flourishing, but the passages seem to be regularly maintained, making it easier to walk.
