富山城跡

Toyama Castle is at the top of Mt. Yasaka. The mountain itself is believed to be privately owned and owned by multiple owners, but it is possible to climb and is used as a small hike for locals. However, it will be difficult for strangers to find a trailhead. If you look closely, you can feel the castle of the Warring States period with empty moats and stone walls, but there is almost no explanation. This mountain is where the famous granite Mannari stone is produced, and the main enclosure has been partially lost due to this.

There is no castle, but it is the best mountain climbing for light walking. You can see the scenery from the rocks and it is also a resting place.

It is a satoyama where you can trek to Koiwa, Uomiyama, and Daianji Temple, which overlooks Okayama City. Please note that there is a collapsed part after the branch from Mt. Uomi!

It is a key point since the days of Kibi Kingdom. A panoramic view of Okayama city. Be careful about your outfit because the trail is relatively steep.

It has a good view of the north side from the main enclosure and the city center from the Ninomaru. The road is well maintained and is a good place for trail running, but be careful as there are dangerous narrow spots if you step off on the way.

Because it is a low mountain, even super beginners can enjoy it enough. You can see the city from the top and the Uomidai. You can take a detour or walk while taking a break and go back and forth in about 2 hours.

The mountain ⛰️ is not very high, it takes about half an hour to climb from the entrance of the mountain to the ruins of Toyama Castle. Maybe it's Wednesday, so I haven't met other tourists during the tour for more than an hour. Spiders ?️The web can be seen everywhere when it comes, and I hang up the web inadvertently ? The mountain path is not steep, and there is no problem with taking children to climb the mountain! When I arrived at the city ruins, apart from the sign, I didn’t see any ruins (I’m a layman, I only watch the excitement ??) There is a hairy chestnut tree ? on the mountain, and a tortoise shell ? was found. The umbrella on the road is very beautiful? There is a water plant at the foot of the mountain. It seems that we usually drink mountain spring water??

About 10 minutes from JR Daianji Station to the north 600m. The site of Toyama Castle still exists on the way to Hosho-ji Temple. Currently there is a poster and it is off limits, but let's be a little rude and move on. Excuse me for only 5m in the Waterworks Bureau, and the stairs on the immediate left side is the climbing road. The altitude is surprisingly low at about 130m, which makes it a little exercise. In addition to the castle, there are many attractions such as "Mt. Sliding" and "Meotoiwa", and it seems that there are many tourists. The territory is simple and centered on the main enclosure, with Ninomaru in the south and Kitanomaru in the north. Furthermore, on the south side of Ninomaru, there is Minaminomaru, which is the Demaru, and the Ninomaru area is cut off by a moat and a clay bridge is built. When you start climbing, there is a fork, so turn left and aim for Ninomaru along the ridge. When I climbed up to Teppen, a magnificent megalith awaited me. At first glance, this is like Honmaru, but it's Ninomaru. The view is outstanding and you can overlook the city of Okayama. Please be assured that there is a guide board to the main circle. When I arrived at the main enclosure, I saw a board with the remains of the main enclosure. The shavings were not rough, and there was a masonry on the side street. It was a little bushy, but you can see the appearance of the medieval castle. Even now, the locals sometimes seem to be able to climb up, so I met them on the way back and forth. To tell you a little bit, it seems that they pick up chestnuts around October every year. I was very happy to talk with the locals and it was 70 minutes back to the station.
